We are facing breast cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes, and arthritis epidemics in this country. Unlike years ago, these diseases are not just targeting the elderly. The key to why younger and younger women are being affected is because of this industrialized world that we live in. Staying healthy, active, and vital has everything to do with balancing hormones whether you are 16 or 100 years old! How can we turn back the clock? By balancing hormones we can restore energy, manage body weight, maintain youthful skin, and stop bone loss.
Hormones are chemical messengers that rule over the entire endocrine system telling the body what to do. Reduce the effects of aging by balancing your hormones naturally. Appropriate use of progesterone cream will be discussed along with vitamins and herbs that help bring the body to a better balance.
Presenter Bio: “Of all the machinery known to man, the most miraculous is the human body. If you balance your hormones, remove the foods that you are allergic to, eat wholesome food, supplement with vitamins and minerals and cleanse regularly, the body will automatically heal itself.” The preceding quote reflects the lifelong philosophy of Roslyn Rogers, clinical nutritionist, educator and health practitioner. Rogers gives hope to women (and men) searching for ways to avoid the decline in health that often comes with age.
A popular speaker, Rogers has spent over 10 years traveling throughout the United States lecturing and giving seminars about women’s health issues, including balancing women’s hormones and pushing back the clock of aging, naturally. Rogers is knowledgeable in a wide variety of health topics, including menopause, PMS, anti-aging, weight management, bone health, energy, healthy skin and dietary supplements. Rogers’ commitment to a healthy lifestyle runs deep. Raised in Long Island, New York, she first gained a desire for better health and wellness from her mother, who was influenced by Adelle Davis, an author and nutritionist who advocated for unprocessed food and vitamin supplementation.
After reading an article suggesting that the human body (specifically, the intestines) is more suited to a vegetarian diet, Rogers decided that the best choice for her health was to follow a vegetarian diet—a decision she has maintained for over 40 years. Now 70 years young, Rogers shows no sign of slowing down—evidence that she practices what she preaches. Rogers has many years of experience in the natural health field, including 25 years in private practice as a Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC) in New York. During this time, Rogers taught women about vitamins and herbs and refined her expertise in women’s health issues.
In addition to being a CNC, Roslyn is board certified in integrative medicine, a designation from the American Association of Integrative Medicine based on education, experience and training. Rogers’ lectures and seminars have positively impacted the lives of thousands of women. Rogers is known for her motivational skills as well as her sensitive and caring outlook on life.
